\nI thoroughly enjoyed this first installment in the Outlander series and am looking forward to reading the second book. There are a total of eight books in this series as well as a TV show based on the books which is currently in its second season. I intend to view the TV show as well to see how it compares to the books. This book mixes history, romance, murder, passion, courage and excitement to create a very addictive storyline. I had trouble putting it down at times because I wanted to know what happens next. Diana Gabaldon does a great job of keeping your attention and engaging you throughout the entire book. This is not my usual genre for reading, but I highly recommend this book to anyone.<\/p>\n
