{"id":2952,"date":"2012-07-06T08:06:25","date_gmt":"2012-07-06T06:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.military-history.us\/?p=2952"},"modified":"2014-02-07T11:09:56","modified_gmt":"2014-02-07T09:09:56","slug":"irony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.military-history.us\/2012\/07\/irony\/","title":{"rendered":"Irony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Got this in an email from my Dad. \u00a0Funny and sad at the same time.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A Lesson \u00a0in Irony.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, \u00a0is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps \u00a0ever.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Meanwhile, the National Park Service, \u00a0administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to &#8220;Please Do Not \u00a0Feed the Animals.&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Their stated reason for the policy is because \u00a0the animals will grow dependent \u00a0on handouts and will not learn to take \u00a0care of themselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>This ends today&#8217;s lesson.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Got this in an email from my Dad. \u00a0Funny and sad at the same time.
